VISION 

“MAKING MANADO STATE POLYTECHNIC AS A EXCELLENT VOCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY AND INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS”

MISSION 

 

  1. Improve and expand access and excellent services for the community to obtain quality education;
  2. Improving the quality, relevance and competitiveness of all study programs;
  3. Creating quality graduates comprehensively covering aspects of knowledge, skills and attitudes;
  4. Creating and developing institutional management based on the principles of good governance in a sustainable manner;
  5. Improving the quality of research results based on applied technology;
  6. Building strong partnerships with the central and local governments in accordance with the mandate of the Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development (MP3EI);
  7. Build collaboration with industry in producing productive and innovative works that have an impact on improving the quality of life of the community;
  8. Building education and research collaborations with national and international institutions/universities.

 

TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE DESTINATIONS, THE DESCRIPTION OF THE MISSION OF THE MANADO STATE POLYTECHNIC ARE:

  • Quality, competitive, cooperative and transparent institutional managerial system with a mindset of think globally do locally;
  • Implementation of higher education that involves stakeholders, especially the industrial and business communities as users of learning outcomes in evaluating and perfecting the education and training process;
  • As a training and entrepreneurship development institution (Entrepreneurship) for students and the people of North Sulawesi in particular and Indonesia in general;
  • Establishing LSP especially for students;
  • Reorientation and repositioning of educational programs as vocational higher education programs that are oriented towards certified work competencies, and are needed by the industrial and business communities;
  • The existence of clear career paths and rewards that are motivational in nature, in accordance with work performance and employee competence of staff;
  • Referring to the new paradigm of higher education that is oriented towards: quality assurance, relevance, accountability, and accreditation;
  • Vocational education institutions that have the right to carry out competency tests and certifications as well as professional licenses whose arrangements are the authority of professional associations / BNSP (Formation of LSP Manado State Polytechnic);
  • The standardization of the provision of education involves the process and infrastructure according to existing regulations.

 

OBJECTIVES 

  1. Producing quality human resources, devoted to God Almighty, able to teach themselves, have broad insight, have discipline and work ethic so that they become strong professionals and have international competitiveness;
  2. To become a center for the development of science, technology and entrepreneurship, in order to encourage the development of Indonesian human empowerment;
  3. Becoming a Professional Competency Test (TUK) in the field of applied technology based on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI);
  4. Have the ability in community empowerment through the development of problem solving concepts using scientific and applied methods.

 

ACHIEVEMENT TARGETS AND STRATEGIES

To achieve the targeted vision, mission and goals, the following are the targets and strategies that will be implemented by the Manado State Polytechnic, which include:

  1. Increasing the Number of Students and Graduates Who Meet Excellent Criteria
    • Increasing the Quality and Quantity of Inputs;
    • Improving the Quality of Educational Processes and Outcomes;
    • Acceleration of Education Quality Improvement;
  2. Increasing the Benefit of Research Results and Community Service;
  3. Increased Quality Assurance of the Implementation of Tridarma Activities;
  4. Increasing the Quality of Education Management;
  5. Increasing the Quality of Student Activity Results;
  6. Increased Results and Benefits of Cooperation; and
  7. Improving the quality of processes, resources and educational infrastructure.
