Wednesday (21/02/24) The Directorate General of Taxes for North, Central Sulawesi, Gorontalo and North Maluku (DJP SulutTeng, GoMalut) held a Tax Goes To Campus activity at the Manado State Polytechnic, in the Integrated Lecture Building, Theater Room.

This activity was attended by 100 Manado State Polytechnic students and was opened directly by the Head of the Regional Office (Kakanwil) of the Directorate General of Taxes for North, Central Sulawesi, Gorontalo and North Maluku, Arif Mahmudin Zuhri.

In his speech, the Regional Head said that this activity aims to provide education and understanding about taxation.

How important it is for us to obey taxation. Because this country sources 80 percent of state income from taxes. This Tax Go To Campus activity is also a form of gratitude where the Manado State Polytechnic is an institution that complies with tax obligations.

Director of Manado State Polytechnic Dra. Mareyke Alelo, MBA said that all of us, including students, must be good citizens. He gave us an example: Don't bite the fingers or hands of people who feed us.

"This means that the country that has fed us, should not let us become anarchists or do things that could be detrimental to the country. "The point is, young students have been given facilities, don't be dissidents to the country." Concluded the Director.
